We have somewhat of a back and forth/ love and hate relationship with foundations. We always dreamt about flawless skin.  Sadly we know that the skin will never be perfect.  It is very high maintenance. It is extremely difficult to find a foundation that would agree with our tester skin.

There say love at first sight is nothing but a myth. Well, we didn’t think so when we lay our eyes upon Mary Kay Time Wise Liquid Foundation, what a bae of life.

Word the street is that this foundation is sick. It keeps skin from getting oily and is nice coverage that feels light on the skin. 

The texture is this foundation is very light especially for a matte foundation. Consistency is liquidy, easy to apply, and feels hydrating on the skin. It does set very quickly and what a massive advantage it doesn’t highlight any dry patches. You can build up the coverage without the cakey and heavy feeling.

As always, we love the tube type packaging, it is very hygienic. However, we have tried to use it sparingly, but this tube seems to be a little on the small side.

Application Tips –

This liquid foundation can be applied with a brush, sponge applicator or fingertips. If using a brush, squeeze foundation onto back of hand, dip brush in foundation and apply evenly across the face using downward strokes.

This foundation does provide a full coverage look to the skin. It blends wonderfully and its the perfect match for my skin tone. However, it is not a photo friendly product. We have all seen it before, you take a picture and your face loooksssss powderly white.

Furthermore, the coverage is good although it can look cakey if you do not moisturize your skin prior to wearing it. If you wear occasionally, it doesn't cause breakouts. However, we have noticed that by wearing it constantly it may cause some zits.

Overall this foundation has great coverage, long wear feels great on my dryer skin. Great product!
